Handiplage and Audioplage
Saint-Jean-de-Luz has worked hard to facilitate access to the beach for disabled persons and earn the Handiplage label.
The "Grande Plage" beach next to the harbour barrier is labeled Handiplage: Level 4
This beach is also equipped with the Audioplage that allows visually impaired and the blind to swim independently.
The Handiplage service is available 7/7 from 1 July to 31 August: 13.30 to 19h with handiplagistes from Monday to Thursday and from 1:30 p.m. to 19:30 p.m. Friday to Sunday.
