Passage de la flamme olympique : relais et animations

Departure from the foot of the Artha dyke (opposite the Grande Plage) at 9:45 a.m. and arrival at the top of rue Garat at 10:25 a.m., when the flame will be extinguished.
The lighting of the flame will take place on the water, aboard an Ur yoko trainière. On board will be 10 rowers, 2 torchbearers and a torch keeper.
The first relay will take place on the water, in the bay.
The other 3 will take place on land, between the Quai de l'Infante, where the torchbearer will land, and the Belvédère Garat, the finish line. Each relay will take place every 200m.

Entertainment on the beach
From 11 a.m. onwards, 16 sports associations will be on hand to organize sporting events on the main beach.
5 zones will be marked out, in reference to the 5 Olympic rings.

The Olympic Village
